A Place of Healing & Restoration

Since 2023, Rest Yourself Family Ministries has provided a Christian-based discipleship housing program in rural Palo Pinto County - serving 39 women and children with love, structure, and the support they needed to pursue healing and restoration. Nestled on six peaceful acres, our Women’s Home was more than just a place to stay - it was a launching pad for life transformation.

Over the course of this program, we were able to:

  • Provide food, housing, and transportation

  • Assist with childcare

  • Coordinate access to healthcare services including GP, OB/GYN, dental, vision, and counseling

  • Facilitate trauma-informed, Christ-centered curriculum

  • Support families in acquiring essential documents

  • Connect women to services like Medicaid, CCMS, SNAP, and WIC

  • Offer financial guidance through budgeting, banking, and counseling

Each woman’s journey followed a tiered structure using our Butterfly Transitional Model, focusing on growth in emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, vocational, and social wellness. And while this season in Palo Pinto County has come to a close, the mission is far from over.

We are actively working toward transitioning the Women’s Home to Dallas County, where we believe God is making a way for even greater impact. Our vision is to reopen in 2026 with the same Christ-centered foundation, a renewed focus, and even more opportunities to serve families in need.

In the meantime, we invite you to pray with us as we seek God’s provision, location, and favor for this next chapter. The story isn’t over and we are full of hope for what’s to come.

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work...” — Philippians 1:6
